Lamson Library

Lamson Library provides service to strengthen and enhance the quality of education at Plymouth State University. Seven days a week, including most holidays, the Library services the informational, instructional and research needs of the University community.

The Library’s collection, one million print and electronic resources and 1,200 subscriptions, is housed in a three-story facility. Through the Inter-library loan system, students have borrowing privileges at most other University libraries in the state and at some Universitys throughout the country.

The Library Faculty provides reference and on-line bibliographic search services during a substantial portion of the Library’s open hours including evenings and weekends. Librarians regularly prepare bibliographies, handouts, and conduct individual as well as class instruction on the efficient use of the Library and its resources.
