Application to  Student Teaching

Application Guidelines and Requirements

  • Student Teaching Application Page
    • The student teaching application page indicates the semester in which you intend to student teach. The application page must be completed, signed, and submitted to the OTC one year prior to the semester you wish to student teach. Once the application has been submitted, download your complete application package (Gate 3 materials) and begin working on the requirements. Please see the Calendars for deadline dates.
  • Curriculum Planning Guide
    • Meet with the Undergraduate Advising Center (Mary Lyon 034) for degree planning by the dates indicated on the OTC Web site (this is the same date as your application page). The Center will work with you to create a Curriculum Planning Guide showing your degree requirements, the courses you have taken towards those requirements, and the courses you have yet to take. Return a copy of the signed Curriculum Planning Guide to the OTC, and it is recommended that you give your advisor one, as well.

Outstanding Students

Jamie Daniels

Jamie Daniels

As an outdoor enthusiast unsure of what I wanted to major I chose to attend Plymouth State University because of the many majors to choose from, and their great reputation for academics. During my freshman year I met some marvelous faculty that inspired me to become a History major with a double minor in Art History and Anthropology/Sociology. At PSU I have met life long friends, and made great connections with faculty who have assisted me in discovering what I would like to do after college, internships, clubs and the chorale, and a job on campus working in the library at the Michael J. Spinelli Special Collections and Archives.
