Reading

  • If you are a visual learner, use a highlighter.
  • For textbook reading, read the title, the concluding section, skim the subheadings, then read the whole chapter with the framework in mind.
  • Allot time for reading and re-reading.
  • If you have trouble remembering what you’ve read, use three steps:
    1. Underline or highlight the text.
    2. Take notes.
    3. A few days later, type up your notes to reinforce them.

Testimonials

Trevor Lohr

“I’ve always been able to spot things I didn’t like in my writing, but couldn’t fix them very well. The consultant really helped me learn how to fix problems.”

Quotes

quote 2

“In coversation you can use timing, a look, an inflection. But on the page all you have is commas, dashes, the amount of syllables in a word. When I write, I read everything out loud to get the right rhythm.”
– Fran Lebowitz
