ETC brings the magic of its annual production to art programs throughout central New Hampshire with its annual Children’s Art Display. Teachers are provided a curriculum on October 20, 2016(details below), and in the months which follow, work with their students to produce art work that is reflective of each show’s themes and related concepts.
Hundreds of works of art created by children are beautifully displayed in the lobby of the Silver Center for the Arts during the production run.
Join us at Plymouth State University on Thursday, October 20 at 4pm in the Draper Maynard Building in Room 311 for a FREE Professional Art Workshop for all educators entitled “Far From the Home I Love: Creating Artwork with a Sense of Place!” Hear about ways you can involve your school in a state-wide art exhibit at Plymouth State University, held in conjunction with our 2017 Educational Theatre Production of “Fiddler on the Roof” and engage in a hands on visual art experience with art educator Denise Plante-Renaud. All materials will be provided. Information about the MEd in Integrated Arts and (for those who already have their masters) our CAGS (Certificate in Graduate Study) in Arts, Leadership and Learning will be available as well as an opportunity to meet with Integrated Arts Coordinator, Dr. Trish Lindberg to discuss opportunities for graduate study in the arts integration at Plymouth State. Everyone is welcome!
Teachers interested in bringing this curriculum to their students are encouraged to contact Robb Dimmick to RSVP and confirm your attendance.
