IMPORTANT: Today’s Children’s Arts Festival has been delayed until 12:30 p.m. today due to weather and road conditions. It will run from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. (we will not have a lunch break, only a snack so please feed the children lunch before they come). WALK INs WELCOME as always!
This year’s Children’s Arts Festival is Saturday, January 11th 2014 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Silver Center for the Arts, Plymouth State University. Children in grades K–6 participate in this exciting event which offers opportunities for children to learn different aspects of the arts—dance, theatre, fine arts—while at the same time experiencing the themes of the current production. This year children will learn all about Charles Dickens and some of the history behind the story of Oliver!
The day includes five fun-filled workshops, a behind-the-scenes look at the Oliver! set, and a special performance.
