Strega Nona Meets Her Match (2000) Producers Notes

It is our great pleasure to present the work of New Hampshire's foremost artist/author for young children, Tomie dePaola. Strega Nona Meets Her Match has been a joy for us to re-create on stage, and we have all come to more fully appreciate the genius that is behind the characters, the color, and the story.

Thank you Tomie dePaola, for all the magic that you have brought to so many throughout your illustrious career. ETC is honored to have the opportunity to share your creation with our community by bringing the town of Calabria alive on the Hanaway stage. You certainly know "the secret ingredient . . ."

We hope our audiences will enjoy this wonderful story. The talents of many—an intergenerational cast of 70, a terrific staff and crew, and a supportive community—have helped make this magic!

Thank you all.
