Currently, there is no way for a parent/guardian to gain direct access to his/her student’s online bill. The student is responsible for sharing his/her billing information with necessary parties helping him/her pay for it. There are a couple of ways, however, for parents/guardians to stay in the financial loop.
- A student may give permission to the Bursar’s Office to discuss the details of his/her bill with whomever he/she likes by completing and submitting this Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Authorization (PDF).
- A student may giver permission to the Bursar’s Office to include others in general communications we send about the tuition bill by adding a “parent” e-mail to their myPlymouth profile using these steps:
- Log into myPlymouth.
- Click the “Student Services” tab.
- Select “Personal Information.”
- Select “Your Email Address.”
- In the box next to “Type of Email Address to Insert,” select “Parent.”
- Click “Submit.”
- Type in the space provided the parent email address to be added.
- Click “Submit.” Note: Please be sure that the email address being added is set up to accept messages sent by “psu-studentaccount@plymouth.edu.” Failure to do so may cause our email messages to be rejected by your spam filter.
