Resources for Parents & Families

Please be aware, due to safety concerns following a number of reported Hoverboard fires, Plymouth State University is prohibiting the storage or use of self-balancing scooters in all PSU buildings effective immediately.  Recently major airlines and the U.S. Postal Service have banned the transportation of Hoverboards on planes, and a number of cities, businesses, colleges and universities have banned the devices as well.  Until the cause of these fires is fully understood and the risks have been mitigated, it is in the interest of community safety that we prohibit these devices.
