Athletic Facilities Paul E. Arold Field The field is named after Paul E. Arold, '63, who coached football and wrestling at Plymouth State, and made many vital contributions to the campus community during his tenure as student, alumnus and staff member. Arold is credited with conceiving the idea for the Robert Frost Award, currently one of PSU's most celebrated traditions. He received PSU's Distinguished Alumni Service Award posthumously in 1972.
