Professional Information

Bill started his business career as a licensed CPA with Gordon & Sherman, Inc., in Montpelier VT. Since 1981, he has been the Chief Financial Officer at three different institutions: Johnson State College, Lyndon State College and Plymouth State University. As the Vice President for Financial Affairs at PSU (since 1995), Bill is responsible for financial operations and reporting, budget, Informational Technology, Physical Plant and capital planning, Office of Sponsored Programs and other administrative functions of the institution.

Bill is an avid fly fisherman, hiker and cross country skier. He lives in Plymouth with his wife Lee, a writer, gardener and Nordic ski instructor. His son Alex is a graduate of Plymouth State University, and daughter Erin is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and a current graduate student at Plymouth.
