The dance pedagogy curriculum is based on the National Dance Standards for Dance Education and the New Hampshire K-12 Dance Curriculum Framework.
You may create a bachelor’s degree under the Interdisciplinary Studies program that integrates dance with another focus, such as theatre, science or business.
All dance students must audition for the program. For more information, review Admission & Auditions.
Course work includes beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of modern dance, ballet, jazz and tap. Additional courses are offered in dance composition, dance history, world dance, pointe, theatre dance, movement concepts, dance pedagogy, performance, dance practicum, movement therapies and independent study.
