Pemi Hall now ...

Pemi hall as it currently looksPemi Hall is now a co-ed residence hall that houses 250 students. It is located on the south end of campus next to the library and Boyd Hall.

Pemi Hall provides a home to students interested in skiing and snowboarding, and the building includes a room to tune skiis and snowboards. It also features a bike storage room, a computer cluster/study area, and a large recreation room with a pool table and TV area. Recent renovations include new windows, showers, ventilation, lights and new fire and sprinkler systems.

When asked what some of the best things about living in Pemi are, students responded with answers like this:

“Good community, lots of new friends, awesome staff”
“I can see the world from MY WINDOW”
“The activities with the people and CA”
“My room is big, building is clean”
“Making new friends”
“The rooms are big”
“Staff is very nice and committed”

In the past ...

The building is named after the river and valley surrounding the town of Plymouth, as well as the “grand hotel” that once resided on that very same spot early in the town’s history.
