Since the Silver Center opened its doors in 1992, our mission has remained the same: to engage, educate, serve and support the students of Plymouth State University in the study, performance and appreciation of the performing arts. As the major cultural arts center in central New Hampshire, the Silver Center also serves as an arts presenter in order to provide a rich, rewarding cultural experience for students, faculty, staff and the public at large presenting guest artists whose work reflects the best in American and world cultures. We invite the community to join us for performances by students and faculty as well as professional guest artists, for readings in the Eagle Pond Authors’ Series, the Sidore Lecture Series, and all of the many wonderful cultural experiences we have to offer.
