Matthew Twomey

Matthew Twomey participated in the College of University Studies pilot program. Matt is from Methuen, MA and a graduate of Austin Prep. A fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, he also enjoys golfing. He found more than one specific program at Plymouth State to his liking, and we also helped him consider other programs at other universities. This is just one example of the ways in which the College of University Studies' seeks to serve student needs and interests.

Resources For Students

Your Advisor:

  • Your academic advisor is your most important resource for information about academics. We invited highly qualified members of the faculty, staff, and administration to participate. Each of our advisors will serve a very small number of University Studies students. You should also feel free to contact Robert Fitzpatrick, the Dean of the Academic Experience. We welcome your questions, calls, and email.

  • The Undergraduate Advising Center --

    The foundation of the advising process is the relationship between the advisor and the student. In this process, the advisor helps students to review, select, and reach their educational objectives in a professional, helpful, and mutually respectful atmosphere that allows students to:

    • become well informed about policies and procedures, curricular options and academic program requirements;
    • clearly define their educational objectives;
    • plan programs which incorporate their interests, abilities and careers goals; and
    • make full use of the facilities and resources available at Plymouth State.
