Our trainers will help you practice healthier habits and select your individualized path to a healthier lifestyle. The challenge is to start and stick to a program that helps you obtain your personal wellness goals. Fitness is not as hard or complicated as it may seem.

            Our trainers, will encourage, simplify the workout session, so it’s not just coming to the gym and working out, but engaging in something fun and good for your over all wellbeing. Meet the Personal Trainers

All of our personal trainers hold national current certification with ACSM and ACE. In addition our trainers are exercise physiology and exercise science majors.

1. Kingsley Kabari: Kingsley is a senior at PSU majoring in exercise physiology and is a certified personal trainer. He worked at the greater Manchester YMCA for 3 years as a fitness coach. He also completed his internship at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth NH in the Cardiac rehab clinic.

What to Expect Each Appointment

A personal trainer will:

  • Help you safely start and maintain an effective exercise program
  • Develop an exercise program specifically designed according to your personal health history, needs, limitations, and goals
  • Provide motivation, encouragement and accountability to your exercise program
  • Serve as a resource to objective and accurate health and fitness informatiom
  • Help you fit exercise into your busy schedule to make the most efficient use of your time

A fitness assessment includes:

  • Cardiovascular endurance
  • Muscular fitness
  • Body composition
  • Postural and core assessment
  • Flexibility

Personal training will include:

  • Resistance training and cardiovascular training
  • Flexibility training
  • Sport-specific training and conditioning
  • Balance, coordination, and stability training
