New this year! Fitness Orientation Program
New this year, patrons can get FREE fitness orientations in the Fitness Room. These orientations will focus on 6 specific machines in targeted area – upper body, lower body, and cardio workouts – and can teach patrons to gain comfort with how to set up each machine and get a proper range of motion so that they can be more comfortable working out in the Fitness Room. Recreation plays an important role in our lives. In the university setting, where stress and deadlines are a daily occurrence, recreation opportunities provide a positive outlet for students, faculty and staff to practice healthy lifestyle choices.
Recreation Programs offer more than just a fitness room and intramural sports. Throughout the year there are special opportunities to get involved, get active and try something new. Whether it’s a 5k Fun Run, participating with a Sport Club, or taking a Group Exercise Class! It’s easy to take advantage of the non-academic side of college.
