canoesSOAR programs are available to current PSU students only:

Trip Schedule SOAR Trips are scheduled cooperative adventures connecting human powered/propelled outdoor activities to students and the outdoor environment. Trips are led and instructed by volunteer PSU students who promote a respect for the environment and a love for the outdoors. Trips can be day and/or overnight(s) involving activities such as, rock climbing, paddling, hiking/camping, surfing and biking.

Student Orientation Adventure Program (SOAP) – This program kicks off June New Student Orientations, providing students a chance to meet other first year and connect with current PSU students.

White Mountain Orientation Trips – This outdoor adventure program offers first year students opportunities to develop relationships with other first year and current PSU students prior to the fall semester start. Participants also gain an awareness of their new outdoor environment surrounding PSU.


Open Climbing Wall Sessions

Location: PE Center Field House
Time: Spring Hours TBA
Cost: FREE

 

The indoor climbing wall is located in the Field House of the Physical Education Center on the PSU Campus. The climbing wall currently has four top ropes and one lead route. If you have questions concerning use of the indoor climbing wall, please contact Angel Ekstrom.

*The program is canceled on Campus Holidays, when PSU is closed, and for inclement weather when athletic teams need indoor practice space.
