It’s never too early to encourage your student to visit the PSU Career Service Office!
The Career Services Office is a place to help your student build her/his own career path. We provide services to help students explore possible majors, research occupations, gain experience, set career goals, and pursue their post-graduation plans.

Exploring Careers

Many times students have difficulty making major and career choices because they may think a major must directly equal a certain type of job they will work the rest of their lives. In some cases, this one-to-one match idea is true. But in most cases a degree, coupled with their overall college experience, gives a student skills and knowledge to do many different types of jobs in many different work environments.

Job Searching

If your student is on the brink of an internship or job search, there are numerous processes and resources to use to maximize the effectiveness of a search and add confidence before contacting employers.
