Young Professionals Groups: In New Hampshire and Across the U.S.

YPG was originally founded by passionate, visionary leaders of “Young Professionals Organizations” who came together at a national YP summit in Milwaukee in August 2004 and decided to share all they knew about starting and nurturing their YPOs.

The evolved version of the site has been developed by Next Generation Consulting and is a broader conversation hub for young talent aged 20-40, and the young at heart, to share ideas about building better places to love, work, and play.

Looking for a Young Professionals Organization (YPO) in your community? Want to connect to other YP leaders? Look no further.

Did you know about the Career Discovery Program at PSU?

You can begin your career development through the courses listed below and as you approach graduation, you will want to utilize the staff and skills of the Career Services Office in Global Education Office at the Bagley House to put your degree to work!

The Career Discovery Program is a set of six courses offered through the Department of Business, designed to help students of all majors or disciplines to develop relevant life, career, and workplace knowledge and skills. The courses do not constitute a logical or required sequence. Rather, they cover a variety of areas that may be of more or less value to individual students.

“I would recommend to anyone doing an internship to try to do it during the school year [rather than as a last class to graduate] when you have less stress worrying about what to do with the rest of your life.”
