Job Fairs

Employers typically attend with specific current recruiting needs in mind.

  • Find out what these current staffing needs are, but don’t assume an organization won’t be interested in you just because your background or qualifications are different and don’t directly match their stated needs.
  • Research employers prior to our Job Fair can help you determine work options that make the best use of your skills.
  • Whatever your major, ask the recruiter about potential opportunities related directly to your degree. If you are open to exploring options outside of your major, keep in mind that, in many cases, the recruiter will consider a broad range of academic majors and skills to fill employment needs.

Career Services at Global Education Office at the Bagley House will be available to answer your questions and critique your resume from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday: Just drop in, no appointment necessary.

Environmental Planning

Newfound Lakes Region Association, Bristol, NH

“Definitely sign up for an internship course. I liked being assigned a task and working independently while gathering data in the field. The courses at PSU allowed me to use my technology, environmental planning, and mapping skills. I learned the art of working in the community while accomplishing data gathering for over 120 culverts in the Newfound Lakes Region (NH).”
