About

The Learning Commons at Lamson Library is a state-of-the-art integrated research and technology center that provides Plymouth State students, faculty, and staff with access to a wide variety of tools and materials, information technology resources and academic support services.

The Learning Commons opened in the Fall of 2006. The architecture and layout of the library was modified to reflect an increased emphasis on technology resources, group study and integrated support services. Library and IT staff were cross-trained to provide enhanced services. Read more…(PDF)

Learning Commons – Cafe

You’ll never need to leave the building when you need a quick pick-me-up to revive you. The Commons Cafe serves coffee, juice and water, along with pastries, sandwiches and salads to keep you energized and sustain those long study sessions.

Learning Commons – MPC

The Media Presentation Center (MPC) is equipped with state-of-the-art technology tools you need to create presentations, build web sites, film and edit videos and manipulate images. The MPC is open any time the building is open and is staffed by highly trained student consultants who are available to advise you on the use of these tools.

Learning Commons – Faculty
