When jazz icon Dave Brubeck first heard Matt play, he pronounced him “amazing.”   Matt was 8 years old.  He recently recorded his eighth album and earned numerous awards for composition and playing before turning sixteen this summer.

Howie Day is an American singer-songwriter born in Bangor, Maine.  Howie has spent the last year finishing work on the highly anticipated follow up to his platinum selling album Stop All the World Now which is scheduled for release this fall.

Air Force Band of Liberty's New England Winds

 The New England Winds is well versed in traditional quintet repertoire and performs musical selections ranging from the 18th century to the contemporary period. Tailoring programs to their audiences, the New England Winds is equally popular with all ages.

John Pizzarelli
8pm, Friday 2/6, Hanaway Theatre

Hailed by critics as one of the most accomplished interpreters of the Great American Songbook, John Pizzarelli is known for his brilliant guitar work, smooth vocals and ebullient performance style.  Pizzarelli will perform with his swinging quartet of top notch musicians.

The Claremont Trio
7pm, Wednesday 3/4, Smith Recital Hall

The award-winning Claremont Trio, whose playing has been called “positively spellbinding” (Palm Beach Daily News) will perform the complete Schubert Trios in the intimate confines of the Smith Recital Hall.

Sam Bush Band
8pm, Saturday 3/28, Hanaway Theatre

American bluegrass virtuoso Sam Bush is a known as a master of the mandolin, fiddle and guitar as well as being an accomplished composer, singer and standout performer.  He’s earned Grammys for his collaborations with Harris and Fleck and for his contributions to the soundtrack of “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”

The Magic Flute
7pm, Friday 4/10, Hanaway Theatre

In this ultimate rescue story, stalwart Prince Tamino and the zany bird catcher Papageno quest to save the Princess Pamina.  Performed in English with the Boston Lyric Opera’s orchestra, this family friendly show is sure to delight all ages.

Elisabeth von Trapp
7pm, Thursday 4/16, Smith Recital Hall

For the granddaughter of Maria and Baron von Trapp, the “sounds of music” are part of her earliest memories.  Elisabeth has carried on the legacy of the Trapp Family Singers, performing from European cathedrals to the back roads of New England developing her own artistic style.
