Social theory helps us to understand society and how it works. It also provides frameworks for developing methodology for anthropologists and sociologists when conducting research. Looks at the connections between theories and methods (or practice) and analyzes major classical and modern theorists from Durkheim and Weber to Malinowski, Goffman and Geertz. Falls of odd years.
