Alcohol and Drug Education programs available to PSU students consist of, but are not limited to:
- OCTAA (On Campus Talking About Alcohol):
- 12 hour alcohol education course taught by a trained instructor. This class is a standard sanction for alcohol violations. Anyone, who is not judicially sanctioned, but is interested in attending the class, may contact the Judicial Programs office.
- MARIJUANA LIFE CHOICES class:
- 3 hour marijuana education program taught by the University's Alcohol and Drug Counselor from the Counseling and Human Services office. This class is a standard sanction for Marijuana violations. Anyone. Who is not judicially sanctioned, but is interested in attending the class, may contact the Judicial Programs office.
- INDIVIDUAL DRUG AND/OR ALCOHOL COUNSELING:
- The Counseling and Human Services office provides counseling services for individuals seeking assistance with drug and/or alcohol related issues. The Alcohol and Drug Education Counselor may also be available for group presentations.
- LIFE EDUCATOR AND PEER EDUCATOR PROGRAMS:
- The Life Educator's (student group through the Wellness Center) and the Peer Educator's (student group through the Counseling and Human Services Office) present various programs, related to Alcohol and Drug Use and/or Abuse issues, to a variety of campus audiences.
