University Police officers are sworn officers in the Town of Plymouth and Holderness and are required to meet all of the N.H. Police Standards state certification and training requirements. All officers, with the exception of student officers, have the power of arrest through the authority granted by both communities.
In accordance with the policies established between University Police
and the local law enforcement agencies, University Police works in a joint investigative effort with Plymouth and Holderness Police regarding situations involving any felony or serious misdemeanor crime in the campus community.
