The staff of the center strives to help all writers at any stage of the writing process, whether brainstorming ideas, creating outlines, checking mechanics and grammar, polishing a finished product, or citing sources. They offer one-on-one personal consultations and offer many resources from a small library and files of graded papers from such departments as the Business, Education, and Social Sciences. The
University Writing Center is not a proofreading service but specializes in offering writers feedback and strategies for improvement.
