Voice mail is available in Res-halls, the student apartments, and non-traditional student apartments.

Who gets a voice mail account?

There is One voice mail account per Res-hall room or apartment.

Log on instructions

First time log in instructions are available in the ResNet guide.

1. Dial 2700

2. If you are dialing from your room, press #. Otherwise, enter your extension and then press #.

3. Enter your password and then press #.

Change the Greeting

Recording a General Greeting

You need to record a general greeting for your voice mailbox. The main voice mail menu is:

Step 1. PRESS 3.

"For all calls the System greeting is active."

Step 2. PRESS 1 because you're going to create a new general greeting.

Step 3. Enter greeting number. Greetings numbers can be between 1 - 9.

Step 4. PRESS 1 to record the general greeting on message 1

"When finished recording PRESS 1. Record at the tone"

Step 5. To use this greeting for all calls PRESS 1

"Greeting 1 active for all calls."

Step 6. To exit the Voice Messaging system at anytime, press **X (**9).
