Class Gifts

Give to the 2009 Class Gift...
every gift counts no matter the amount! Mary Lyon

By making a gift of any size you will automatically receive membership in the Barbara Dearborn Club, which honors donors that give at a level of $1,000-$2,499 annually.  As Barbara Dearborn Club members you will enjoy correspondence from campus leaders, networking opportunities, and invitations to special events.  This opportunity is to thank the Class of 2009, the first to dedicate their giving directly back to campus; by contributing your class gift to the Tower Fund.

Our Annual Fund supports scholarships, athletics, campus events, alumni services, educational and recreational improvements, activities, interest groups, and more.  We ask that as you prepare for graduation, you also begin to foster a relationship with the future of Plymouth by making a gift.  The size of individuals' gifts is less important than the act of giving to PSU.  Active donations and donors ensure that future students have similar experiences on campus as the students before them.

"Thanks for the designation of the 2009 Class Gift; it is an amazing gesture of support to Plymouth State. The ‘Class Gift' is a long-standing tradition, but the Class of 2009 is making an innovative change to leave a tangible impact on campus and student experiences. When you choose to support our university as a whole, with a gift to The Tower Fund at PSU, you continue your partnership with this institution. And we will continue to benefit you as we move Plymouth into the future together. Thank you!"

Some reunion classes decide to work together on a fundraising project or endowment campaign – for example, purchasing furnishings for the newly renovated Mary Lyon Hall, contributing to campus beautification, or creating an endowed scholarship.

When a class works on a special project, all gifts toward that goal between their last reunion and upcoming reunion year will count toward their reunion gift. If your class is having a reunion this year, your gift – plus any corporate matching gifts – to the Tower Fund will be credited to your reunion class giving and participation totals.

If you would like more information about class gift projects, please contact the Tower Fund.

When is your class having a reunion? Visit the alumni office’s reunion page.
