Dr. Madie Barret, Interim President (1983-1984)
"I've reached a point in my life where I'm putting together my estate plan, and I'm making Plymouth a part of that. It gives me great pleasure to have the capacity to do this for Plymouth State, and it will connect me forever with the institution. Now, that's a legacy."
Madie passed away on January 28, 2005. Her plans will now be fulfilled for the institution that meant so much to her during her life.
The most important considerations in planning for the future are your needs and the needs of the people you care about - your family. The pages of this web site are intended to provide planning assistance through informational articles, a personal planning assessment tool, and a gift calculator that will give you immediate answers to various planned gift scenarios. You will discover that it is possible to plan for your personal financial needs while at the same time building an enduring legacy at Plymouth State University, and perhaps even making the gift of a lifetime.
Alumni and friends who share their planned giving intentions with the Development Office are invited to become members of the PSU Heritage Society. Enjoy your explorations of these resource pages and please contact us if you have any questions or would like to talk with a development officer.
