Nine
credits outside the major discipline.
This is the simplest
method of fulfilling this requirement. It simply means that nine total
credits of 300 or 400 level course work must be taken that are not
from the same program as a student's major. If a student is an English
major, for example, they could fulfill this requirement by taking any
300 or 400 level course that are not offered by the English program (any
courses that do not start with "EN").
