These up-to-date resources, brought to you by the Plymouth State University College of University Studies in partnership with the University of Tennessee, can help you and your advisor think about your academic major in new ways, and help you examine the connections between majors and careers. 

For each major that interests you, follow the link to an information page that includes an outline of common career areas, typical employers, and strategies designed to maximize career opportunities. You'll also find links to Web sites that provide information about listed majors and related careers. 

Keep in mind that the information sheets and Web sites are representative of typical career paths associated with each major and not a comprehensive list. You may want to explore information and Web sites from multiple majors to help you learn about a wide range of career opportunities.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a great place to look for more information.  Each entry contains job outlook, earnings, training, employment projections and more.
