Q: What can the S.A.G.E. Center do for me?
A: The SAGE Center has resources for nearly everyone. We serve as an information and referral center for those who need to access any and all relevant campus and community resources. We also provide one on one consultations to our students regarding a wide array of issues such as healthy relationships, sexual health and safety, sexuality, body image, and much more. Short term crisis counseling and advocacy for friends, family members and survivors of dating violence, sexual violence, sexual harassment, stalking, and hate crimes is also available.
In addition to this, we offer leadership opportunities through jobs, internships, and service-learning. The S.A.G.E. Center also hosts a number of popular events, such as the Dragfabulous Drag Show, the Clothesline Project, Walk A Mile In her Shoes, as well as awareness events such as Domestic And Sexual Violence awareness months, Women's History Month, and Pride Week in April.
Finally, The S.A.G.E. Center is a drop-in center with comfortable chairs, a refrigerator, high speed internet connection, and an extensive library. Stop by and see us sometime!
