Teaching Women's Studies courses is a pleasure. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the outstanding caliber of work produced by students in this program, students who are among the most engaged and enthusiastic scholars at Plymouth. - Dr. Robin DeRosa

Sarah MacNeilage

Sarah MacNeilagean alum of PSU that fell into the Women's Studies Minor by chance when choosing courses for the Spring 2005 semester (her sophomore year). She writes, "I have found a great interest in my classes though, and the integration of the material from one class to another is amazing. The overlap in course material has enabled me to more fully comprehend the matters facing women in the formation of the United States, the Americas, and the developing world. Courses like 'Women and Global Colonialism' and 'American Women's History' greatly compliment my History major. In adopting this minor, I'll garner a greater appreciation of women's experiences throughout history."
