Teddy Bear Toss at Plymouth State University to Help Children During the Holidays
Marketing Association of Plymouth State hosts Teddy Bear Toss at Hockey Games
The Marketing Association of Plymouth State University (MAPS) will be hosting a Teddy Bear Toss during the Plymouth State Women’s and Men’s hockey games on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017. Spectators to the games can toss teddy bears onto the ice after Plymouth State Panthers score their first goal. These bears will be donated to kids at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHAD).
Spectators are welcome to pre-purchase teddy bears and bring them to the event in sealed plastic bags for sanitary purposes or MAPS will be selling bears at the ice arena during the game. This marks MAPS’ second year running this charitable event in which teddy bears are donated and distributed to kids at CHAD. In addition to the bears, 50% of MAPS proceeds from the night will be given to CHAD as well which include donations and sales from pucks and bears.
The event will take place at the Plymouth State University Ice Arena located at 129 NH-175A in Holderness, New Hampshire. The women’s game begins at 2 p.m. with the Plymouth State Panthers facing Salem State. The men’s game begins at 6 p.m. against Westfield State. The sponsors of this event are MAPS, CHAD, and Biederman’s Deli.
