Learning Outcomes

Students graduating with a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology will have:

  1. An ability to apply knowledge of computing and technology, appropriate to the discipline, to solve problems and design systems
  2. An ability to function effectively on teams to accomplish a common goal
  3. An understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities
  4. An ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
  5. An ability to apply current Computer Science /Information Technology theory and practice in the design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices
