Fall 2017 End-of-Semester Celebration
by Janina Misiewicz
We’ve made it to the end of another semester. With some endings, like this one, it’s important to celebrate and reflect on how far we’ve come and what we’ve learned along the way. With this in mind, all the Interdisciplinary Studies majors are gathering together in Frost Commons to share with each other what they’ve been working on over the course of the semester. The end-of-semester celebration is for every student in our program, but it’s specifically geared towards the Senior Seminar Capstone students, some of whom will be leaving Plymouth State University after this semester, moving on to some other exciting chapter of their lives, no doubt.
If you’d like to learn more about our capstone students, we recommend checking out the links below, and exploring their ePortfolios. Each student completed an “applied project” and a “research article” during the course of the Fall 2017 semester, ranging from living in a tipi for 13 weeks to shadowing professionals in different health fields to exploring what it means to be a privileged humanitarian determined to help those in need.
As always, we’re incredibly proud of our students and what they’ve accomplished during their time at Plymouth State University.
