Anne Wernert

Anne is currently the President of Wernert Associates, Inc. part of the family-owned general construction company established by her husband Bruce in 1981. Located in Greenwich Connecticut, Wernert Associates focuses on building private luxury homes, additions, and renovations.

Prior to her time in the home construction industry, Anne served as head nurse in Labor and Delivery at White Plains Hospital Medical Center in White Plains, NY, and as a Lamaze instructor for private clients. She earned her nursing degree at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.

During the years Anne was raising her three children as a stay-at-home mother, she was an active volunteer and community leader serving as a board member for a number of community organizations including The Junior League, Parent’s Together (Chairperson), Greenwich Health Association, Greenwich High School Sports Council (Co-Chairperson), Greenwich Council of Youth and Drugs and as a facilitator for Parent’s Exchange.

Anne’s interest in Plymouth began with her son Max’s (’06) successful experience at the university and his varsity career culminating as co-captain of the men’s hockey team in his senior year. She was appointed to the Plymouth State University President’s Council in 2011.
