Tailgating

Registration will open August 1, 2024.

Parking

Tailgating requires pre-paid registration, but there is free parking available in any of our campus lots on main campus and behind the Ice Arena. Park in any of those areas and walk over to the athletic contests, the Harvest Food Festival, Craft Beer Garden, or walk in to catch up with your friends in the tailgating area. Please notetailgating activities are prohibited outside of the designated tailgating area.

Event Schedule from Homecoming Weekend 2023 

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2023

9am - PSU Wrestling Best Ball Scramble at White Mountain Country Club followed by a cookout 2-6pm at 143 Highland Street in Plymouth. Contact Coach Carr if interested ryan.carr1@plymouth.edu

11am -  43rd PSUAA Barbara Dearborn '60 Golf Classic, Waukewan Country Club, Center Harbor, NH. 11am check-in, Noon tee off. Join us for this annual outing with a focus on fun. All proceeds benefit scholarships at Plymouth State. 

7:30pm - The Flying Monkey showing of Cocaine Bear (rated R). Doors open at 6:30pm, film starts at 7:30pm. General Admission: $20 / General Admission with Valid PSU Student ID: $12. Cocaine Bear themed food and alcoholic beverages for people ages 21+ with valid government ID.

8pm - PSU Wrestling Meet & Greet social at Yamas Greek Eatery on Main Street. Cash bar with complimentary appetizers.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2023

9am  - PSUAA Alumni Recognition Awards, Gene '58 and Joan '56 Savage Welcome Center,  PSU Ice Arena 

10-Noon - Stop by Lamson Library to view the mini exhibit that will be on display outside of the Spinelli Room. "Plymouth State Decades," featuring the history of PSU in the 1920s, 1940s, 1960s, 1980s, and 2000s. PSU History students in Professor Becky Noel's class provide the research behind the exhibit. 

10-11:30am - 6th Annual HHP Alumni Breakfast and celebration of 75 years of excellence - Health & Human Performance Center

10am -  Softball Alumni Game 

10am  - Tailgating. SOLD OUT. Note new entry through ALLWell. All attendees are expected to read and follow the tailgating rules and regulations
                NEW this year! Class of 2024 Tailgate hosted by the Future Alumni Board: prominent tailgate section in the first row of the tailgate area (closest to the turf and AllWell). Complete with tents and tables, giveaways, cornhole, PSU color face paint, Pemi the Panther temporary tattoos, hair ribbon, music, snacks provided by the Office of Alumni Relations, and more! This is a 21+ event.

10:45am - Dedication of the Charles Currier Statue by the Panther Gridiron Club in collaboration with Athletics and University Advancement. Charles Currier was the first football coach for the Plymouth State Panthers. 

11am-1:30pm - The Hyde Hall Transformation. ALLWell North 2nd Floor Lobby. Join Provost and VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Nate Bowditch and Major Gift Officers Joe Lines '87 and Guy Wisinski '85 for an insider's look at the renovation plans to transform Hyde Hall into a state-of-the art academic building, the home of our School of Applied Business and the center of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster. The event will conclude with a tour of Hyde Hall, approximately around 2pm.

11am - PSU Football and BBQ with PSU Wrestling. Meet at Athletic Center Wrestling Room and watch the game at noon, followed by a Homecoming finale cookout at 143 Highland Street from 2-5pm.

11am - Friends of Bill, St. Matthews Church, 11 School Street, Plymouth, NH

11-2:30pm  - Harvest Food Festival and Craft Beer Garden, by Panther (turf) Field  

11:45am - Phi Mu Kappa/Tau Kappa Epsilon alumni bench dedication and photo (University Way near Holmes Alumni House)

Noon - Football vs. Framingham State
               Boston Anthem Singer, Todd Angilly '99 

3pm - Men's Soccer vs. Western Connecticut  
             2:45pm - Little East Hall of Fame Induction, Bryan Biederman '07

3-6pm -  Welcome Home to Main Street - downtown Plymouth, Alumni Gatherings & Reunions. 
                  Rusty Bones band in the town commons - live music sponsored by Cafe Monte Alto and University Advancement

4pm - Women's Volleyball vs. Rhode Island College  
             Boston Anthem Singer, Todd Angilly '99

7pm - Harmony and Humor  at the Silver Center for the Arts at Plymouth State- A medley of performances from alumni, faculty, and students, featuring Boston Anthem Singer Todd Angilly '99 (Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity) performing American standards from Sinatra and others and Boston Comedian Carolyn Plummer '97 (Delta Zeta sorority). This show is rated PG.  Click here to purchase tickets.  All proceeds benefit the Angilly Opportunity Scholarship at Plymouth State

9pm - Homecoming Show after-party at Biederman's with special guest, Todd Angilly '99
