Volunteers Needed in Plymouth for Hurricane Relief

Posted on: September 6th, 2017 by Randy

Want to help people in Texas, Louisiana, and other states that may soon be affected by hurricanes? On Saturdays September 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers are needed to put together cleaning buckets and health kits at the White Mountain Hub, located in the ground floor of Plymouth United Methodist Church at 334 Fairgrounds Road. This is an ongoing, year-round effort, but there is an increased need for helping hands this month due to the most recent, and impending, hurricane disasters. PUMC is a certified receiving and processing center for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), known around the world as a premier partner in disaster response.
