Reflective Practice

offers educators the opportunity to actively engage in critical thought regarding their own experiences and teaching practice in an effort to create a continual opportunity to learn and grow pedagogy through contemplation.

Instructors, often from several different disciplines, meet regularly to reflect upon teaching issues. Some groups use established, formal protocols while others have a more open format to facilitate conversation and reflection. Many groups meet at the same set time each semester so that community is built and the power of reflection deepened over time.
