The health and safety of our community is our number one priority, and as #PanthersUnited we are all teaming up to reduce the spread of COVID-19. #PanthersUnited is a public health campaign that features the six important health actions listed below, which enable us to hold in-person classes and activities on campus.
We need to practice these simple steps, both on campus and in the town of Plymouth, to keep our community safe. Together, we’re better, so please step up and join your fellow Panthers in doing your part.
Stay apart — together.
Safe social distancing = six feet apart.
Consistently maintaining a safe distance between yourself and others makes it harder for the virus to spread. Look for the visual guidelines across campus to help you find your place and claim your space.
Wear a face covering.
Protect. Respect. Always!
COVID-19 can be spread through air droplets when we breathe, sneeze, cough or talk – even if we aren’t showing symptoms. That’s why wearing a face covering isn’t just about you: It’s a sign of respect for those around you and the health risks that they may face.
Practice self care. Reach out for support.
Feeling overwhelmed? This is a challenging time for everyone. And you are NOT alone! Find compassionate support and resources from PSU Health Services and Counseling Center.
Health is in your hands. Wash them — often.
Soap. Water. Scrub for at least 20 seconds.
Washing your hands with soap and water is one of the most powerful things you can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It’s also one of the easiest. If you don’t have access to soap and water, hand sanitizer is also effective.
Spread health. Not germs.
Keep it clean. Cover your coughs. Stay home when sick.
It’s simple: If you feel sick, stay home. And whether you’re sick or healthy, be sure to regularly disinfect any surfaces that get a lot of attention – like door handles, light switches, faucets, coffee mugs and water bottles. Attached to your phone or tablet? You’ll want to disinfect that, too – just be sure and follow all manufacturers’ guidelines.
When in doubt, get checked out.
Screening is free at Health Services. Just stop in.
Not feeling well? Not sure if it’s serious? Play it safe – see a doctor! Your question or concern is never too small to talk with a medical professional at PSU Health Services. Call (603) 535-2350 to easily schedule an in-person or telemedicine appointment.
