AR1045 - Art Foundations 2D: Composition and Content
Foundations course. Introduces design principles, visual language, and color theory through a survey of concepts, techniques, processes, and media. Emphasizes critical thinking and creative problem solving through investigations of compositional arrangement, visual perception, studio practice, and the intersections of form and concept. Students explore the diversity and richness of the contemporary art practice and its relationship to a diverse global culture. Not open to students who have earned credit for AR 1040.
