SSE3500 - Diversity in Social Studies Education
Examines pre-service teachers’ beliefs and attitudes about diversity. Students study the ways in which teachers are prepared for cultural diversity, working with English language learners, teaching exceptional children, and how those experiences impact their actual practice through analytical lenses in history, social psychology, and sociology.
