Since Plymouth State is a residential campus, it is always active with students from all walks of life from around the globe! The size of our campus allows for interpersonal connections, increased participation in campus life and easier access to support systems, whether academic, social, or personal. Our close proximity to Plymouth’s Main Street also means there is a close connection between the University and the greater community. Students are expected to live on campus if space is available.
Most newly admitted students will reside in double or triple rooms in one of our traditional residence halls: Belknap, Blair, Grafton, Mary Lyon, Pemigewasset and triple rooms with a private bathroom in Langdon Woods. If you are an incoming student who is 19+ years of age or sophomore status or above, you are eligible to request housing in the University Apartments and all room types in Langdon Woods. Merrill Place is our newest residence hall and is available on a first come first served basis to all students and offers single and double rooms with a private bathroom and single rooms with a shared bathroom!
