Career Peer Advisors and Appointments
Career Peer Advisors are available to meet with you to provide peer support on:
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Interview preparation
- Networking help
- Social media strategy
- Job search strategy, or
- General career guidance
Meetings can be arranged in Holmes Alumni House, Speare 108, or during drop-in hours around campus.
Want to be a Career Peer Advisor?
Career Peer Advisors are student workers selected to act as representatives for Career Development on campus to help fellow students by making career resources and information easily accessible. CPAs are an extension of Career Development. They receive extensive training in resume review, interview skills, gain knowledge of all Career Services resources, and are expected to share this knowledge with fellow students. CPAs receive training throughout the semester. They attend monthly meetings and are responsible for providing Peer Advising Hours in convenient locations on Campus. CPAs also support Career Development by marketing and participating in career-related events and workshops.
