Cynthia is a teaching eco artist, who has worked to balance her studio practice with a passion for arts education, arts programming, and collaborations that create communities through the arts. With a background in combining work as a classroom art teacher, arts presenter, arts/education consultant, and traveling artist in residence, Cynthia has enjoyed the opportunity to work with a wide range of communities/audiences using different creative approaches to promote the overarching concept that the arts are essential to education and to the quality of life here in New Hampshire.
Cynthia is a NH State Council on the Arts’ Arts in Education Roster Artist, a member of the Arts Alliance of Northern NH, New England Consortium of Artist Professionals, New Hampshire Child in Nature Coalition and the Women’s Caucus for Art NH. She has a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, and an MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College.
