About Professor Lonergan

Phil Lonergan attended the University of St. Thomas as an undergraduate, where he studied Art and Psychology.  Phil spent many years working as a furniture builder and boatbuilder, both in the U.S. and abroad, and he has lived throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia.  After returning from working abroad, Phil attended graduate school at SUNY-Albany, where he received his MFA in Sculpture.  He is currently Professor and Coordinator of Sculpture at Plymouth State University. He works out of a studio at his home.
