Studio Facilities & Tour

The Plymouth State University art studio facilities are top notch and state-of-the-art. The Art Department is housed in a renovated factory building on Main Street, the Draper & Maynard Building, former home of the Draper & Maynard sporting goods company. Our studios are large, with 12-foot high ceilings and enormous windows that flood the rooms with light.

D&M is a comfortable working environment, easily accessible for students. The building houses painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, design and photography studios, a slide library, classrooms, faculty offices and the departmental office. D&M is also home to the Karl Drerup Art Gallery, which presents professional exhibitions, lectures, films and other regular events, as well as the Collins Gallery for the exhibition of student work.

Take virtual tours of our facilities and see for yourself!

For each of these virtual tours a new window will open when you click on a link. Quicktime Player is required to view the tours. If you do not have Quicktime, click here for Macs or here for Windows.
