In July, Mike Son offered the first Summer Science Camp at PSU called Science Explorers. This STEM initiated camp was designed to introduce basic sciences (plants/ecology, chemistry, biology & microbiology) to kids in grades 1 through 3. The camp was very well received by the Science Explorers who were treated to demonstrations and presentations.
Rebecca Anderson, a PhD student at the University of Rhode Island, presented her Masters Thesis Defense for her Master of Science in Biology at PSU on Friday, October 3rd at Boyd Science Center.
