BS Marketing

The BS degree in Marketing prepares students for one of the most exciting and vital areas in any business enterprise: marketing.

The study of marketing provides the necessary qualitative and quantitative skills to be successful in careers throughout the business spectrum. Specifically, this program exposes students to areas of relationship marketing that integrate advertising, sales, consumer service, public relations, promotion, retailing, wholesaling, product management, direct marketing, marketing management, and marketing research.

In addition to the marketing course offerings, students are encouraged to explore the professional marketing community by participating in opportunities such as marketing internships, advanced marketing projects, and student membership in marketing organizations. Additionally, students are strongly encouraged to pursue a minor in an academic discipline other than business. Marketing majors may choose one of three options in Integrated Marketing Communications, Professional Sales or Public Relations.
